A play, based on the novella A Cat in the Ghetto by Auschwitz survivor Rachmil Bryks, is set in a carpet factory in the Lodz Ghetto prior to its destruction. The play focuses on Blaustein, the head of the factory and a variety of characters working under Blaustein who are struggling to survive.

The Eternal Light

A drama written for radio that is set in the Lodz Ghetto, at one time the location of the second largest Jewish population in Poland and seventy-five miles south of Warsaw. The play takes place in September 1944, one month after the Nazis' final deportation of the Lodz Jews to the Auschwitz Birkenau death camp.

Throne of Straw

An epic play that employs music and song to tell the tale of Chaim Rumkowski, the leader of the Lodz Ghetto Judenrat, who is manipulated by the Nazis into the moral quandary of having to decide whether to give up some Jews to possibly save others.
